of Montreal live

I guess when you lie too much it starts to hit your pocketbook. But the Taliban Times will survive because of the liberal media bias with the pathetic NBC leading the continued push for the Feminization of America before the '08 elections. Getting in touch with your feelings and electing insane women has never been so important to the mainstream media.

Jim Miller has a fantastic political blog and here’s a link to the top ten myths about the Iraq war.

Here's a Pitchfork review for Of Montreal’s San Antonio show. This blog has a awesome mp3 of their cover of David Bowie's "Moonage Daydream". Scroll down to 1/24 entry. http://funeralpudding.blogspot.com/

The Instruments are doing a Joy Division covers 7". It is almost done, and is going to have a small pressing of 300 copies. Pre-orders available on the http://www.hhbtm.com/ website.

more political b.s.

Follow up on the state renting space to a strip club on the first floor while having state offices on the second floor. First, the state worked out an agreement where the club would have to hire a bouncer from 12-5pm to make sure no state workers were stopping by. Secondly, the state agreed to WAIVE RENT of 7K per month if the owner would install a sprinkler system to comply with state laws. Nice deal and I bet a few privately held restaurants would like the same deal to stay in business. BTW, the building was obtained by eminent domain and is at the heart of our gay club district on Allens Ave.

Getting better by the minute, another son of the Secretary of State was arrested last night. Boy, you fall-in-line democrats must be so proud of this criminal. “Capt. Keith Tucker, head of the Providence Police Department’s Youth Services Bureau, confirmed today that Angelo Mollis was brought to the police station and that his father came to the station and took him home. According to people familiar with the situation, Angelo Mollis allegedly tried to take a $10 shirt at J.C. Penney.” According to another eye witness he was heard saying "yo, don't you know who I am, my father owns you?".

More truth that hurts. The US will not have any success without the removal of “the rules of engagement” which is preventing our Marines from killing more terrorists. It’s also why more soldiers have been brought before tribunals and 8/10 questionable citizens are released before we know who they are. It sounded like the President did this and a time line will force the issue.

Here’s the Kennedy’s (Ted, Patrick and Joe) goodwill hero, Pigmy Chavez, getting his country in line by taking over the banks, newspapers and all private businesses. This is exactly what extreme left wing democrat liberals want our country to become. They want the Government to control everything except security and provide the promise of good life to everyone. Screw capitalism, education, competition and the chance to do whatever you want in life, just get here. As a letter to the editor said the other day, the Kennedy's are nothing but "useful idiots" in this dictators scheme to make the US look bad.

Minimum wage hike. I could give a crap but the talking heads better say you CANNOT raise a family on this wage. I wish just one blowhard politician could say that your pay scale is based on your education, not because your pregnant girlfriend crossed the border at night to pop one out in the hospital.

Stem cell financing. There has not been one successful gain in stem cell reasearch which is why NO PRIVATE MONEY is going into the field. All this retoric does if provide the good talking point of "hope" . There is no reason for the government to throw away money to a few researchers or indiviuals. Investors want to make money, but the reason no one is investing is stem cell research is that there is no chance of success. But that has not stopped individuals from paying 10K to save their childs imbelical cord "just in case". It's your money, do what you want but don't waste tax dollars on this pet project.

the problem with RI

More news on the newly elected Secretary of State’s stepson. He was also found with a bag of dope but, because of his dad, the police negotiated a deal on the spot. If the driver take blame (and not implicate the mayor’s son) they will reduce the charge. Wow, a double-wammy for the RI public. So that’s three incidents buried by the police department in the weeks before the election. Nice.

Of course, the police again “couldn’t do anything” because RI law allows for the consumption of marijuana.

(ProJo 1/9/07) “One of the officers in charge at the station that night, Sgt. Timothy C. Magill Jr., said that Piscione was not charged with smoking marijuana because the evidence was gone — while it is illegal to possess marijuana, there is no explicit law against consumption.”

RI allows prostitution, as long as it is done inside any building and not in public. Hence the massage parlors with “illegals” and why “private” dances are so popular at our strip clubs.

RI law allows you to take land from your neighbor if you pretend to own it for at least 10 years. This happens every year because people are paying hundreds of thousands for houses but not having the property surveyed before closing.

At least everyone can share in the wealth of strip clubs as a taxpayer in this state.

nice weekend

If 50 degree, partly sunny weather in January is the myth of global warming I’m all for it. This weather is great. Hope it’s like this for a few more weeks.

Speaking of great, every game was entertaining this weekend with the Patriots looking like world beaters. There is nothing better than the Cowboys losing, especially when they thought they should have won and their own boy wonder ultimately being the reason they lost. Damn that run to the goal line was close.

Time to enter the HGTV free house contest. Type in your information once-a-day for a chance at the 2.5M house in Colorado.

There were three things guaranteed to happen if democrats took control of the house and senate: taxes will go up, de-funding the military and more rights for terrorists/crimaliens.

Lieabetes: The affliction of constantly lying to make yourself look good.

savage is back.!!!

The return of talk show host Michael Savage on WPRO this Monday evening. Let the bomb throwing begin and you can stream it for free.

Less than 12 hours after declaring Providence was rid of the corruption directed by his predecessor, convicted ex-mayor Buddy Cianci, the gay mayor’s (or is it a mayor who’s gay) brother had federal charges brought against him in a typical RI scheme. It goes like this: When your in jail, you can get your sentence reduced if you can help authorities bust a drug-runner. So, the mayor’s brother would go to your loved ones, ask for 100-150K (in cash, of course) knowing there was a drug deal coming (hey, you need clients to survive) and the criminal would get “credit” (and a reduced sentence) for the bust. This is how our criminal leaders work in this state.

From the classic RI “don’t you know who I am” department. Our Secretary of State’s 19-year old step son fires a gun into a car because someone was talking to his girlfriend. Since he’s “connected”, his “get out of jail free card” comes into play and he can walk away. But it gets better. Apparently, he also pulled a gun on three people who complained about him taking a wiz in the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot a couple of months ago, but his father (who at the time was mayor) had it squashed when the police “couldn’t find the gun”. Of yea, the police just found the gun that was fired in a pond near his house.

Just pathetic how the ProJo (the states only newspaper) continues to cover up all illegal activities just to convince the ill-informed voters they made the right choice with a one-party system throughout the state. It cracks me up how unchecked power is corrupt on the national level, but good for the people on the local level.

fresh start

One of the better videos from the Sublime Box Set.   4 minutes of heaven and stay for the (greatly under-rated) guitar playing of Bradley.    Is this really reggae?   I call it great music.

Another Robert Pollard limited vinyl.

new direction

Change of direction this year for this blog.   I’ll still post great vinyl and collectibles but let the bomb throwing begin.   I’ve started a new one and will be exposing the moochers and looters for what they are.    If you have to ask for the link it probably means you’re my target.
