Trying To Catch Up
Wow, can’t believe it’s been a month since I posted anything. Lots of stuff keeping me busy on the porch, which is going very good. This weekend is the softball season opener and it starts with a bang against the best around. Saturday is a one-day 8-team tourney and Sunday again. Then league scheduled games at 3pm in Bristol and 5pm in Barrington. Then a double-header on Monday evening.
My new team, National Gold is playing a former team first game Saturday 9am. I’m a little tentative right now because I have not practiced like in past seasons but the team is stacked and will have to carry me for a couple of weeks. A full review by Tuesday.
Two leftover 7” tour singles on Cass Records.
The last I left you on the porch it looked something like this. My brother in law spent 4 days with a couple of guys and created a pretty good size porch. The idea is too have it completely screened in and the exterior finished in a couple of weeks. Since the professionals have left I have built the floor, de-nailed and re-screwed the existing trex and applied most the wall finishes.
There are so many nice, little details about the porch and I will try to share them so you know what to look at when your INVITED to visit. Except MSwift, he can visit any time. I’m still waiting on the colored trex and have a cool flooring pattern ready to go.
