knock down
Pitchfork gave the new Bruce Springsteen 30th Anniversay issue of Born To Run a perfect 10. Although I haven’t listened to the album (or even a song) in 20 years, I may have to find a copy to spin for that special high school nostalgia feeling.
Current interests bring me to a much more intriguing item. It’s a new movie about Kurt Cobain narrated by himself. “It’s just going to be 90 minutes of Kurt, and occasionally Michael Azerrad, talking about growing up in Aberdeen, living in Olympia, going to Seattle and eventually becoming the biggest rock star in the world,” Schnack said. Check it out, here.
The Rocky Point knock-down dolls went for way more money than I thought. They ranged from $60 to the most expensive, the Happy Clown knock-down doll. And the original, vintage Flume Sign has a new home.
Well, I ordered early and had to wait a month but got my limited Sunn O))) cd with bonus live cd and got number 0011 of 2000 copies. That number is way too low to open, so I’ll have to grab another copy.
My childhood friend, NSwift, is getting harassed by across the river residents about the brightness of his Swift Results Golf Range lights. Read it here. I was able to design the building and believe if he turns the lights toward the ground it will all be worked out.
